Anna Maria Moore, Founder

Anna Maria has a mixed cultural heritage and unique cross-cultural experience having lived in 10 countries on five continents. Her experience has given her a profound understanding of the importance of communication and the art of cultural adaptation. The impacts are felt on all levels, from the expats and immigrants wanting to feel at home in their host country to the organizations that invest resources in them.

After 10 years in international business within the telecom, pharmaceutical and marine electronic industries, Anna Maria is returning to her passions of language and culture. She speaks seven languages to varying degrees of fluency due to her nomadic childhood and has worked with language teaching, translation and interpretation. Culture&Moore builds on that experience.

Anna Maria received a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird, School of Global Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Whitman College. She is a certified medical interpreter for Spanish to English and a member of Phi Kappa Beta, an honorary language society.

On a more personal note, Anna Maria is based in Oslo, Norway with her Norwegian husband. They spent two years traveling around the world before settling in the Nordics.
